Dear Gianna and all respectful members of the Society, family members and friends!

On the Vigil of St. Nicolas Feast, The Patron Saint of our Society, let me be permitted to send you a few words. For 110 years was a tradition for you to gather around the Feast day of St. Nicholas, the patron of seamen, and friend of all children. Our Benevolent Society grew for 110 years under his protection. So many people from Cres and New York were good as Saint Nicholas himself.
As a priest, tomorrow I will remember all of them.

This is our day! Let us be joyous.
I congratulate you.

This day, let us think of all our seamen, sailors, captains, fishermen. This year not around glamorous tables, but, maybe in this privilege time, let us pray for all our deceased members of our society, our families, our children and young,the old and sick....

We are in the season of Advent. It is a time of serious spiritual preparation for the birth of Jesus.

Once again, as we remember our past and how special was the Feast of St. Nicholas during last 110 years, I CONGRATULATE YOU.

With the numbers infected with the coronavirus increasing at a rapid rate, coupled with the ban on large gatherings, we are canceling the meetings and postponing events that were due to take place in the near future.
