Iniziamo dal centrale:
con la gamella in mano e Nino Ferlora, Piombich; a sinistra, quello che mangia e Nello Bradizza, Cochich; poi e Piero Castellan; al suo fianco e Ferlora Mazme; col mestolo in mano e Antonio Coglievina; con la forchetta in alto e il Caisolano Nicolo Bon, il quale mi ha servito per ingannare le autorita portuali quando siamo fugiti - lui a finto che ha rotto la gamba; dietro di lui, col pentolone e Francesco Sablich; poi Tonin Castellan che abraccia Nicolo, sopranome Tataina; al suo fianco e Francesco Cotach, anche lui col pentolone simbolo dell'abbondanza; quello con il bottiglione e Giuseppe Duimovich, detto Dropina; sotto di lui sono io con il forchettone pieno di pastasciutta. A quel tempo avevo una bella chiomma di capelli che ora non li ho piu! io con la gamba sulla spalla di Coren, anche lui Chersino, ma non saprei dire come e con chi e arrivato in Italia. Manca Francesco Ceglian del nostro gruppo di 12 Chersini. Nicolo Tataina, Francesco Cotach, e Coren, non sono del nostro gruppo - mi pare che i tre sopranominati siano fuggiti assieme.
